hundred SGS E
Series pelletizers already in continuous use are proof of the quality and cost
effectiveness of these machines. The entire range of thermoplastics is pelletized, from
soft rubber-like to brittle, fragile, high-density and glass-fiber reinforced

and short change over time are the advantages of this feature.
- The rotor is driven by a timing belt, not direct, resulting in the
following advantages.
- The ideal motor speed range can be achieved by changing the
ratio between the motor and rotor pulleys to match the normal strand
speed.
- Increased torque at the cutting rotor, e.g. higher power during
standard operation. Increased moment of inertia at the cutting
rotor, e.g. higher power for sudden overloads (lumps).
- Compact design with small overall-dimensions, as the motor is not
placed in line with the rotor shaft.

Feed Table:

remains parallel with the lower when multiple strands are being fed.
Pulling Force:
With the large pneumatic cylinder and
upper roll design this unit out performs all others in its class.
Pneumatic Cylinder:
This cylinder is a large bore
for greater pulling force and conveniently located on the cover
Other Standards:The cutting gap is adjusted by the use of
push-pull screws.
