| Scope of Supply Conventional Strand Pelletizing is the most widely known method of pelletizing strands. Standard procedure is to manually grip the strands emerging in parallel rows from a strand die, pull them through a water bath over an air knife and feed them into a pelletizer. This method requires great skill from the operator during start-up and personal attention during operation, as breaking strands or unsteady melt flow could lead to pelletizer failure. High production costs caused by material loss and high manpower usage are the consequences. The self threading strand pelletizer described as follows has been developed to avoid the above mentioned disadvantages. |
